Lizzie asks…
Favorite Movies?
what are your top 5 favorite sad movies? and
what are your top 5 favorite movies in general.
admin answers:
Sad [ [ Keep in mind that I don't really watch sad movies so this is the best I've got ] ]
–The Ultimate Gift–This movie was sad yet happy….like bittersweet in a way. This movie, to me, was intriguing and probably one of the better movies that I’ve seen
–Radio–I cried a little in this movie, it was okay, but it was so sad
–Bridge to Terabithia–okay, I DID cry in this movie. Well, I couldn’t help it either because of the ending they did. But overall, it was great.
–Titanic–what can I say? I’m a girl. It’s obviously sad for me (though some girls don’t think that it’s sad…)
–Poseidon–it’s just depressing when you think about how many people died
In General
–Sixteen Candles–I don’t know why I like this one, but I do
–The Breakfast Club–Classic=]
–Without A Paddle–I watched it when I was sick and I just got hooked because of the way the guys talked to each other. The conversations were very humorous and some of the things they say or do are hysterical to me
–Ocean’s Eleven [ [ I like the others too ] ]–I LOVE these movies! Especially Rusty since he eats in almost every scene he is in (only in the first one)
–Die Hard [ [ Others are also great ] ]– At least one action movie had to be on my list, but these movies are great with Bruce Willis=]
later
–AMB

favorite movies?
Whats your favorite movie/movies? And, can you think of any movies like A Walk to Remember? Sweet, sad, pretty girl, cute guy……. you know… I so love that movie and wish to know of other movies like that one. Have a great weekend!
admin answers:
Ok, here are some of my favorite movies:
Young Frankenstein- its a mel brooks black and white film, with gene wilder in it, it’s absolutly hilarous
Walk to remember
The notebook – my favorite love story of all time, it’s such a good movie.
Breakfast club – it’s a classic and it’s a great movie
Sixteen candles – another good movie
Walk the line – it’s an awesome movie, its the story of johnny cash and june carter cash. Jauquin pheonix and reese witherspoon do an excelent job as the actors.
Stealing home – it’s a really good baseball movie, with a very young jodie foster and mark harmon. I definatly recomend this movie
sleepless in seatle – i love it, its such a classic
three to tango – it’s a funny cute movie, i really don’t know why i like it so much but i really do.
Cinderalla story – great movie
forest gump – it’s hilarous, i love it.
Ok here is the closest movie i have found to “WALK TO REMEMBER”:
Sweet November – its has keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron in it. It’s about a business man obsesed with his job, until he mets this girl who is different for lack of better words. Anyway she tells him to stay with her through the month of november and she will change him. Its a really sad movie and it’s amazing, i really suggest watching it.

James asks…
What are your favorite movies that are about ONE day of some character or community’s life or less?
For example, Spike Lee likes to make movies like that (Do the Right Thing, 25th Hour), what are your favorite movies like that? If Lee’s movies are your favorites, feel free to include them as well. I’m not asking for movie suggestions, I’m asking for your opinion.
BQ: Do you know a movie where the whole action takes 2 hours- or less? “A live movie”?
admin answers:
Friday
Do The Right Thing
Run Lola Run
Four Rooms
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Groundhog Day (ok, this might be cheating)
BQ: Crank

Carol asks…
What are some favorite movies of autistic toddlers?
I work with a two-and-a-half year old just diagnosed as autistic, and we are looking for some favorite movies that other autistic toddlers have enjoyed. He loves Despicable Me and the Toy Story movies, and anything about animals. We are trying to stay away from the less-verbal movies such as Wall-E because we are encouraging talking which he is attempting more of. I would love some suggestions that people may have from their own children’s movie libraries. Thanks.
admin answers:
Thomas the Tank Engine- in the new ones the trains speak (and in the older ones it’s more of a narration.) Something about the fact that these are non- people makes it easier for them to watch while still encouraging social interaction.
